Delete your account or data

You can request deletion without installing or signing in to Scribe Quest. Choose whether to close your account completely or remove selected data while keeping your account.
Request account deletion
Email an account-deletion request to info@humanquest.net from the email address associated with your Scribe Quest account. Use the subject “Scribe Quest account deletion request” and tell us that you want your account and associated data deleted.
If you cannot access that email address, contact the same address for help verifying ownership. Never send your password, payment details, or copies of your recordings. We verify ownership before processing a request and confirm completion by email.
Delete selected data and keep your account
Email a data-deletion request to info@humanquest.net using the subject “Scribe Quest data deletion request”. Identify your account email and which categories to remove: conversations and notes, people and contacts, contact photos, or saved audio. Specify that you want to keep your account.
What is deleted and what is kept
- Account deletion covers your sign-in account and profile, conversations, transcripts, generated notes and summaries, saved contacts and photos, saved audio, and connected Google authorisation held by Scribe Quest.
- A selective data request removes the categories you choose. Your account, sign-in details and unselected categories remain available.
- Deleted conversation content is not kept for an additional retention period in the active Scribe Quest workspace. Records required for legal, tax, security or fraud-prevention obligations may be retained only for the applicable required period; if this affects your request, we explain the records and retention period in our response.
- Copies you exported or shared outside Scribe Quest, and original contacts or events in your Google account, are not deleted. Payment providers manage their own transaction records under their policies.
In the app
Open Settings → Privacy and data. Use the Data tab to select categories to delete, or the Account tab to request deletion of your account. Deletion cannot be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.
Account deletion does not replace cancelling an active subscription. Manage and cancel your subscription with Google Play, the App Store, or the web billing portal where you purchased it.
